What made you decide you wanted/needed to start a program?
I had been trying to lose weight/get fitter/get healthier for while, on my own this seemed like a huge task and I was getting nowhere! So I googled local personal trainers and Dan’s webpage and contact sheet came up, so I decided to take the plunge and find out how much his sessions would be. My partner also wanted to become healthier, but had problems with his back. This was challenging as he didn’t want to do any damage to himself whilst trying to get stronger. With this in mind I contacted Dan to see if he was able to help.
What results have you achieved since starting your program?
I have a better overall understanding of my health. Although I didn’t lose as much weight as I had hoped, I very much understood how my actions affected the results and what could be done to change it.
What do you like best about our program/ having a trainer?
The fact that the sessions were at our home made it simple to fit into our schedule. I liked the fact that boot camps were available too, it was nice to be surrounded by other people who wanted to achieve similar goals. The best thing for myself and my partner was that Dan trained us side by side, although we had very different goals and objectives. This meant he made two different programmes which we undertook simultaneously! Also, the positive contact Dan kept up throughout our entire programme was very useful and supportive.
What would you say to someone on the fence about joining our program?
Go for it! It was worth it!
